and it’s groovier than I could have even imagined. These images were leaked on Xbox Live’s webpage, even though it hasn’t been confirmed or even announced yet. Please take these images with a grain of salt, so you don’t get crushed if it’s just an April Fool’s Joke.
But let’s indulge in what the images have to show us. First, going from left to right, we got Brock Samson from the Adult Swim show, The Venture Bros. Then we got the lovable yet annoying robot: Claptrap from the Borderlands series. Next, and the biggest surprise for me, is the Deadite killing, boomstick wielding badass, Ash from the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness. Finally, we get Max’s partner in crime(solving), Sam from ‘Sam and Max’.
Before you guys comment regarding the roster choices, I just want throw this neat tidbit in there. Sam Raimi, creator of the Evil Dead series, stated that all Evil Dead extended universe media, such as comic books and video games, are considered canon. So this Ash is the same Ash who not only took on the Army of Darkness, but met the likes of the Marvel Zombies, Darkman, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Dracula, Xena, Re-Animator(Herbert West) and Barack Obama(just go with it). So yeah, comment away.
