Sonic Boom TV Series Trailer

For the final bit of Sonic news today, there’s a new trailer showing off the new Sonic Boom cartoon. It’s just a small scene of Sonic fighting one of Eggman’s robots. But it’s worth checking out.
From the official Sega site:
“The Sonic Boom TV series is a co-production between SEGA of America, Inc. and OuiDO! Productions.  Executive producers on the show are Evan Baily, Donna Friedman Meir and Jane McGregor on behalf of SEGA, and Sandrine Nguyen and Boris Hertzog from OuiDO!.  Other partners involved in the TV series include Lagardère Entertainment Rights for distribution and Lagardère Active TV Licensing & New Business for licensing and merchandise in France.”

At the Year of Sonic press event today in New York City, we finally got a glimpse of the new designs of Sonic and friends. We’ll be seeing these designs in future cartoons, games, comics, and merchandise. As of right now, it is unknown whether or not this will be the new main continuity of Sonic or just a spin-off. All we know, the designers are clearly a fan of sports tap. Hell, it’s even on the goddamn shoes!
