A new trailer released by Neatherrealm Studios details Lex Luthor’s contributions to the mysterious “regime” set up post-Superman-gone-crazy in the upcoming DC fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. The thing to take away from this trailer, however, is what seems to be a new character. Shazam nemesis Black Adam appears in the trailer, chasing down the meched-up Lex Luthor with help from Hawkgirl. Does this mean that Black Adam is playable? Who knows, it could be he is just a story character, and we’ll have to wait until further down the road to find out. In addition to this, Gamestop has been running a “hype” campaign for their exclusive Red Son DLC pack, where fans can like and share their website to progress a progress bar that will unveil a playable character, and then eventually a trailer for the DLC. However, an image has been found on the site that leaks this new character, and if you actually inspect the element on the site, Doomsday’s name is in the title, so it’s safe to assume that the big baddy is playable (though that was already inferred in a previous trailer that had the Joker getting the brilliant idea to shoot the behemoth in the face). Injustice: Gods Among Us will be released April 16th for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
